When to file N400

Hello there,
I got married 4 years ago with my wife which is a US born citizen.. we did all the immigration paper work and I got my GC on June 2008.. I read somewhere that you can file N400 3 months before your 3rd GC birthday.. so in March 2011 its going to be exactly 2 years and 9 months.. I wanted to know if I could send the application.. or just wait exactly 3 years before I do so?
 
In your case you can apply up to 90 days before you have met 3 years of continuous residence as a LPR since you have already been married for 3 years to a USC.
