When to do fingerprints?

I got my fingerprint notice today in mail and it is in 3 weeks from now. Should I try to do it early? I applied under 90 days from 5 year rules, Is there any benefit of doing finger prints soon as my 5th year GC time is almost 6 weeks away?

In general how much time does it take these days between finger prints and interview date?

Practically, it's of not making any difference at all. That's what we are seeing with others' experiences.

Considering you applied early, you increase the risk of having interview before your GC anniversary by going for an early FP.

Forget benefits. Some ASC's don't even allow early FP's. Even though I didn't try it myself, I asked the people at the Dallas ASC on behalf of my wife and they said they don't allow early FP's.

You did you finger prints early? Do you have to give any excuse when you show up for FP early and when to go (if going early) morning vs afternoon?

How easy is to reschedule interview date?
