I have been working with an OPT for a few months. My OPT will expire in July 2006. If I want to continue working at the same company right after when my OPT expires, when should I start applying for H-1 visa? Thanks in advance.
Unless you have MS from US univ, your earliest start date on H1 is Oct 1.
If you have MS from the US, you may be able to start working upon H1 approval, but I can not predict how long it takes.
