when should i expect NOA1?

Hi everyone!
First , I owuld like t o tahnk you all for sucha great job. This forum was/ is priceless with helping us anwser all the diffuclt questions whiel we are putting togheter a package for AOS< EAD< AP for me.

I know that this is maybe silly question:
We got married on Nov. 20. 2010.,package was sent the same day via Fedex Express and was deliverd Monday , Nov. 22.
We send it the same day , so we avoid new charges.
Since Monday Nov 22, I heard NOTHING. :(, check are not cleard etheir.I am so worried.

How long I should wait for NOA? and if will not come what should I do? i am really worried becasue we have a trip plan in Agust 2011 for my polish ceremony in Poland. All that waiting is just so frustrating.

It is not unusual for there to be an extra delay when so many people were trying to beat the fee increase that became effective November 23rd. This happens every time the fees increase or people are trying to beat a sunset date of law that ceases to be available for anyone you does not file by a particular date. This also happens when something finally becomes available (like the yearly rush to be first in line for an H1-B visa).

Huge amounts of mail all at once slows everything down across the board tying up mailroom and data entry staff.
 
Thank you name checkvictim and BigJoe5! this make sense... I guess we are not the only only trying to beat Nov.23rd.ahhh.... just have to wait.
