Hi,
My wife's EAD will be expired on September 30, from my understanding, we could file the application within the 4 months of expiration. But my wife and I will travel abroad on June 5th for two weeks using AP, her current status is H4. Originally we planned to file the application before the travel, but I realized that her I-94 card will be replaced after the travel and her status will become parolee, which means the documents sent out before will become outdated. In this case, should we file the application after the travel? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Also, I am confused with the fingerprint for EAD, is it still the case that if you are e-filling, then you need a fingerprint, but if you file paper based then you don't need it, and why?
