End of Session Likely Delayed Until Monday or Tuesday

House and Senate leaders have dropped plans to break for the year this weekend and will keep both chambers of Congress over through at least Monday and most likely Tuesday to give themselves more time to work out agreements on budget reconciliation and next year’s spending bills, a senior Senate GOP leadership said today.
