Hi Guys

I had a question on what happens to a waiver if your receive it after you leave the US.
The J1 waiver status page shows that my recommendation has already been sent, but I am leaving the US on 27th for good.I want to know if the waiver will be void since I am leaving the country.I have already changed my address to my aunts address who stays in Miami,so any mail that comes for me at my Chicago address will be sent to her now.
My Visa expires on the 4th of June 2007.I would really appreciate some advice on this.:)

waiver has nothing to do with your presense or absense from the US.

However, mail from USCIS does not get forwarded to other addresses. You have to call USCIS to change your address, also mail form AR-11, indicate your aunt's address on it, and contact the service center where your waiver will be adjudicated to inform them of your new address (aunt's).

Good luck!
