When can i apply for Citizen ship?

I got my Green card in Dec 2004. I heard i can apply 4-6 months before completion of 5 yrs term.

Is any one have idea when can i apply for citizenship?

You can apply no sooner than 90 days prior to 5 yrs. of residency (the date printed on your Green card)
