Whats up all August Filers?

nothing is up

its only 3-4 of us still remaining i think...everyone else is either on the "waiting for plastic card" thread or gone ....
enjoying their freedom.
 
No there are not just 3-4 of us August filers left, wool. I think you can multiply this by the thousands.

Many of us have RFEs; many others on these threads have heard nothing. Just because the Sept. folks are starting to worry if they haven't been approved, it doesn't mean it is all over. I think there are many vocal August waiters on this site and probably many silent folks. And this site represents but a small fraction.

Anyway, I filed my RFE (employment based) and it was received by VSC on 9/13/02. Still no AD in my future. That makes it nearly 14 months since I filed the 485.

Amen, brother!

There's a large number of us with RFEs that have been waiting on the INS for weeks and (in some cases) months - just to validate a single employment letter or paystubs! August is by no means over, and hopefully the audit means that we will get looked at instead of October's cases.

They said no file movement, but that ajudication will continue. Maybe that means that they'll be forced to look at those boring old RFEs instead of new cases.
 
Can't get through the INS to check with IIO. PLease post information if any one of you August Filers get through.

i called two weeks ago

and was told that my case has moved the 60 day waiting area ..i called back and asked them what that meant...and was told it means some verification is being done

what i dont get is how they pick up cases? why is sept getting approved and aug still not finished?
 
Does it mean we have to wait 60 days for our cases are picked up.On Sept11 I was told that my case had reached the processing area.
Also my I-140 was approved for Consular processing even though I had not asked for it. Anyone in the same situation?
 
i c one aug guy got approved today

i dont expect my approval before end of oct...i was hoping id get it this month...but i guess not
 
Hopeful signs

I got my approval--an Aug. RFE case yesterday. It looks like processing is continuing as others had the same great news yesterday. Maybe this audit will help those with August cases as it will mean the old files will be processed rather than new ones.

I hope this happens and that you all hear the news soon.

No luck yet. RFE Response Received 8/28/2002. A month ago!

I was told the 60-days shit story by an IIO in July (3rd or 4th week), when I called in mid-august, was told the same 60-days story by another IIO. this one rather gave me hopes that my case would probably be approved before the end of august. it's now end of sep, no news at all....AVM spills the same old shit message....i m sick of hearing this message for the past 8 months
