Just got my card and noticed that.

That's the specific sub-category your immigrant visa is in. I am E37, my wife was E39.

you know what each category means?
does it has to do with employment based 1rd, 2nd, etc

E36 is EB3 category skilled worker (without bachelor degree) who adjust status in US.
E37 means EB3 category with bachelors degree and adjust status in the US. E39 is spouse of E37.

are you sure?

Mine was dones as EB3 and i am sure of that becuase i have to provide college degree and transcripts and its all over the labor certification. does that mean my card has an error?
