I'm a naturalized U.S. citizen. I filed I-130 petition for my brother who has been in his home country. He got married recently after I filed the petition. I want to add his wife to his I-130 petitition and asked NVC about required documents.
NVC (National Visa Center) told me to submit the following documents:
- a copy of the beneficiary's marriage certificate;
- a copy of the derivative spouse's birth certificate;
- a copy of the derivative spouse's passport.
Since his marriage certificate is not in English, shall I ask him to get it notarized in English, so that I can submit a notarized marriage certificate in English?
Also, since his wife's passport is not in English, shall I ask her to get it notarized in English as well?
Thanks,
