Hi,

Below is the list of email notices I received from USCIS checking-status-online system:

-May 9th: Welcome Notice email & I-130 approval notice sent
-May 14th: Card Production order
-May 18th: I-485 approval notice sent

And, now is May 22nd already, I haven't received anything listed above. I'm enormously worried since I'm planning to travel outside the US sometime soon. I'm thinking whether there's an USCIS mistake of mailing address or something....

Is anyone here living the same situation as mine? Please help me out....I seriously don't like this waiting game....i have been waiting for name check clearance for over 1 year....

It's been 8 days and you're already freaking out because you haven't received the card yet? You're going to worry yourself into an early grave.

I know it might be true that I worry too early for the card to arrive...but at least, I'm worried about the Welcome Notice and I-130 approval which were said to be mailed out on May 9th, and I haven't received them yet up until now...

I'm just wondering what USCIS would repsond when you call and tell them that you think your documents might be lost in the way....has anyone called like that in the past?

if you have spare time, call USCIS, make sure they got your current address, and then write your name on a piece of paper and attach it inside your mail box.

sometimes a mailman will not leave any correspondence from USCIS in your mailbox, if it doesn't have your name on it. Ours doesn't. Sometimes the post office doesn't have a "record" of you living at your address.

Excellent advice.

To the OP, I would suggest that their may be an issue with your mailing if you haven't got your welcome letter yet. Did you change address during the AOS process?

Oh ok. Well, we registered our change of address to the post office too. So they have our name/address on file. Thanks for the tip though.

USCIS themselves suggest that the immigrant's name be on their mailbox. If I find the document suggesting it I'll post it.

it turned out that the Welcome Notice has been sent to my attorney's office, which I have no clues why....now, I'm only waiting for the actual green card to come...as for mailing address, we never changed the address during AOS process...thanks for all the tips, but I think if USCIS did successfully send other past notices , like I-485/I-130 receipt, Biometric appointment notice, etc. ,to our home, they must have got the mailing address down correctly, right?
