Hello Everyone,
I wanted to know what does one do when denied because Officer not satisfied with current marriage?
Filed Citizenship on a three year rule and did interview, asked for more documents sent them on time and now I am worried if he refuses do they give reasons why? What if they do not give reason for refusing me citizenship.

Do I file again or Appeal and Sue. Please help.

They have to give reason for denial. You can appeal the decision. But for now, relax and wait for their decision.

They will tell you what the reasons are. If you don't have any criminal history, I am sure you will be allowed to file again or appeal. Don't worry. Just relax and think of vacation. Filing based on 5 years of LPR is better than filing based on marriage.

You must satisfactorily prove evidence of marital union up until the oath. Utility bills in both your names, tax receipts and answers to the IOs questions are usually sufficient to prove this. Did you not have this evidence or was there any other reason why the IO was not satisfied of your marital union?

Most likely a denial reason would have to be lack of marital union proof, since that is what the IO was concerned about.

Same here.. Be confident and be patient and wait. All answers will come clear and you will be rejoicing. We are all in line hoping and praying for the best...

That's what I did. Just waiting. Mine has not any more questions. He looked for everything even a simple typo on taxes of my wife's name. Fortunately I had transcripts, so that save that question. He even looked at a Lottery I won and asked me if I gambled. And I said No. he tried tricking me into accepting that I had been arrested before and I said NO.
Anyway, I sent all he requested and I am waiting so buddy CRYIN4HLP, wait and everything will be fine. I am hoping by the end of August I might have an answer.
Pray, relax and forget all the negative side.

Have you already had conditional permanent residence converted to regular permanent residence? That is, have you already obtained approval of I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence?

Or did you file I-751 and N-400 concurrently?

I'd also like to know what it is that was asked for during the interview, since I'm applying based on 3 years of marriage... I think we have enough stuff (purchase of house, bills, life insurance, car title etc), but you never know what they will ask for... I sent a huge packet for the I-751 but didn't send much at all with the N400, just our most recent house purchase, joint auto insurance, both our driver's licenses, and a joint cell phone bill, and of course tax transcripts for the 3 years...
