Please Ignore my previous posting, I found the answer in one of the threads and I have updated my 485 receipt numbers on the UCIS website, it says the last touch date is 02/05/2004

From this report we can see that they are trying to focus a little bit more on cases by receipt date than in the past . Also for some reason june and july cases of both years seem to be relegated to the very end.

This week the focus switched to March 02 . Except for Jun 02, Aug 02, and Sep 02 the focus is still on FY02 . In total they touched 24 cases less than the previous week
 
It looks to me like each IIO is processing cases of a different RD/ND period, and they do have a plan to process all cases between 01/2002 to 09/2003 before 10/2004 so that they can cut the process time to be <1 year by the end of 09/2004. Also they have somebody process cases of 2003 because these 1st FPs are about to expire. They don't want to generate a 2nd FP notices to add more works.
 
Yeah , I have the same hopeful feeling that they have a plan to eliminate backlog of more than 1 year by the end of the Fiscal Year 2004

are we/you looking at the 485 cases or any case(EAD/AP/485). I am asking this Q since my EAD (ND/RD--Aug '03) had a touch date of 05/04 and today the touch date changed to 06/01/2004 with an approval as the outcome of 'touching'.
 
The data pertains only for I-485 pending applications on the California Service Center submitted on FY02 and FY03
 
is it possible to post the WAC series which got touched in different months.
Are they touching the cases randomely within a month or is there any pattern in it?

Most of the cases touched before Feb 02 is to Order Cards. The months more active are March02 and April 02 the less active is June 03 :(

Lawyer received response to inquiry from USCIS

This is what the USCIS response :

All I-485 cases that are previously considered beyond JIT processing are being re-assessed. The cases that are fingerprint ready will be reviewed. The I-485 cases with expired fingerprints will be re-scheduled. Please allow 60 days for action on these cases. If you have not received any notice regarding an I-485 that is past the CSC processing date, please contact the CSC via email.
