What is petition expiry date on I-797?

Dear All,
I am scheduling a visa interview appointment on ttsvisas.com (India) for H4 visa. The form asks for the petition receipt number which i found on my receipt (EAC...). Then it asks for petition expiry date which i cannot locate anywhere on the receipt.
Please help.

H1 visa expiry date (validity date) usaully 3 years from the approved date, which is definitely mentioned on the approval notice.Please help.

Thanks for the prompt reply. But the receipt that i have is not the approval notice. It is the receipt of my application for H4 status.
Does that mean that i cannot schedule a visa interview till i get the H4 approval notice?
Please confirm.

You just applied (submitted petition) for H4 approval, you got receipt.With this receipt you can not go to embassy.
You need approval notice which look like the receipt with petition expiry date. Embassy will entertain only the approval notice.

---------- I think you are going to apply for H4 visa stamp in US consulate India
You were in US on H4 and you filed H4 extension in US based on your spouse valid H1 status.
You have got H4 extension filing receipt from USCIS in US but not received your H4 extension approval.
If that above is true then you need your spouse H1 approval notice and you will get H4 Visa stamp till his H1 petition validity date. your spouse H1 approval notice has expiry date on it

As suggested by ginnu, i can schedule my visa interview at the embassy using my spouse's H1 approval notice expiry date. But then the petition receipt number should be from the same H1 approval notice, right?
However, judging by what you told me, it seems i should fill in my own H4 approval receipt number and my own H4 approval expiry date so that both can tally for the visa interview.
Since i have to wait approximately 3 months for the interview, i wanted to save some time by scheduling it before i got the approval. But since scheduling itself requires information from the approval notice, i cannot schedule before i get the H4 approval.
I would appreciate any other suggestions.

----- your H4 Visa is based on your spouse H1 approval notice, you dont get H4 independent of H1, ( at this time you dont have H4 extension petition approved and only have H4 extension filing reciept, even if you haveH4 extension approval that will be ONLY till your spouse H1 petition) dont get confused write the H1 approval expiry date

----------------- your H4 extension approval is NOT needed for H4 visa stamping, H4 is based on spouse H1 approval notice. you filed H4 extension so that you can be on STATUS in US it has noting to do with H4 Visa stamping from US consulate.
But since scheduling itself requires information from the approval notice, i cannot schedule before i get the H4 approval.
