What if no job

I got my GC in April 04 (thru self sponsered NIW). I am having problems with my boss and I am going to resign (research in university). I will get another job in another couple of months (similar area of research). Is there any problem will I face. My boss wont inform INS.

if you already got a GC, what are you worried about? why don't you read the info on uscis.gov website about it?
 
I know there is no clear guidelines on this. Is there anything in uscis site other than gc renewal, re-entry permit etc ?
 
This won’t be covered in the website. You’re fine. Even if your boss informed CIS, your continuous employment since your PR approval shows your intent. Other than not receiving public benefits, you are ok (unemployment benefits are ok, but since you’re quitting voluntarily, you’re unlikely to get any).

Thanks sadiq. I dont plan to get un emp benefits. But will the INS come to know if we get these. I have read in this forum that it is better not to apply for un emp benefits after getting GC. Any ideas ???
