What if FP rejected?

Called FBI. Was told that FP was rejected due poor quality of prints.

Question: Do I have to wait for another FP notice from INS?

Problem: It may be several months before INS updates its system, sends me another FP notice and again updates its system with the fresh results from FBI.

Did anyone have his/her FP rejected? Please share experiences.

If FP is rejected you have to wait for the second notice. In my wife\'s case it took 2 months from the previous date 05/12/00 first time, & then 07/25 second time at Newark. Unfortunately second time also it was rejected as poor quality & finally VSC transferred her case to local INS ( Newark) on 08/08/00.
You need to call VSC to ask them expedite your second FP.

I had my FP today. The person took long time to get my FP whereas my wife\'s was done in no time. The FP person took two copies of the finger print and showed to the Supervisor.

I am nervous now!!
