What do I need to submit to adjust status?

I have an approved I-130 Immigration Petition, I am in the US on a B2 visa and would like to adjust my status to permanent immigrant. Can anyone tell me exactly what I have to submit along with the I-485 (Application to register permanent residence)? I had thought just the I-765 (permission to work application) but I'm not sure if there's anything other forms I should be submitting at the same time.

My mom, n now I'm 32.
I heard someone said the B2 visa is not the purpose to immigrant to US n no way to file I-485 to adjust the status. Is that true?
Please advise,
Peter

You should be able to file for AOS since you are a immediate relative. The forms you will need to file are I-485 / G-325A / I-693 medical / I-864 Affdavit of Support/ I-765 EAD (optional) / I-131 (Optional).

B-2 visas should not be used as a mechanism to immigrate. USCIS prefers people go via the CP route. Having said that, one can file AOS while on B-2 status. There is no regulation stopping one from doing so.

peter, what is your priority date? if it's not current, you cannot apply for AOS.
