What about half brothers?

Hi all. This is my first post, and I think this is the right area to ask.

The thing is that last year, I found that I have a half brother in the USA.

My father (Mexican) and his mother (US born) got married when he lived in the USA doing an internship and then for some reason there was an anulment or divorce.

My father came back to Mexico, and lived a normal life here with another woman and rised a family, but never told anyone about his stranged son.

This happened 50 years ago. Now that I found my half brother, I want to know if there is a possibility to apply for a green card being him a blood relative. My father appears as his on his birth certificate.

I have asked this question on several other immigration forums and have never received a valid answer besides angry comments about my father and the like. I hope this time someone will be so kind to answer my question.

Thanks in advance

10 years ha? Well... then theres hope! Lol!!!

Thanks for your response.

Just one last naive question.

If the sponsor was born and raised in the USA The process time is the same as if the sponsor was born elsewhere and legally immigrated to the USA?

Thanks again

Only US citizens can sponsor siblings and it does not make a difference if the sponsor is a US citizen by birth or by naturalisation.

If the sponsor was born and raised in the USA The process time is the same as if the sponsor was born elsewhere and legally immigrated to the USA?

Maybe a wheel chair is a good investment.
