It seems we have tried signing petitions and calling lawyers, AILA, Senators and Congressmen. Needless to say our plight continues. What do you all think about sending a letter to POTUS (President Of The US)? May be if we send a plea for mercy describing our plight and how our lives are in general a mess on hold! President can forgive serious criminals, so may be if he actually receives a letter by a 1000 of us....
Election year approaches, and even though we are not eligible voters, the administration may consider at least replying to our letter. Even if it takes 7 more years before we vote in an election it may give them a thought about building their vote bank in the minority communities where republicans are not very strong.
Time and again members have suggested contributing $100.00 to the cause of TSC. If we have any members from DC or Virginia maybe they know of a strong lobbyist we can approach to take our cause for the right amount. I dont know anyone personally but I know that "India Caucaus" is a very strong lobby group comprising senators/congressmen. Just thinking aloud to see if other members have any thoughts on this....
