Went on a one-month trip right before filing for citizenship, is that a problem?

I spent most of the six to seven months in the states before applying for my citizenship. However, I was out of the states for 28 days visiting family in Canada before filing (because my darn lawyer said it was ok), stayed around for a few days, and went up to Canada to visit family again. Will that be a problem? My lawyer told me it is not a problem, that's why I did it, but now that I looked at my travel date again around that time plus all the things people have posted here, I am a little concerned.

Please advice.

Yes one month isn't the issue since that's less then 6 months. However, it will depend on your travels from being a PR up until this point that will be the issue possibly depending on your travel history and how many days including this trip you've been out of the US for...

As long as the trip didn't interfere with your physical presence requirement there's no issues with traveling for 1 month before you apply.

It might of not broken his physical presence requirement, but depending on how much time he spent collectively out of the CONUS, it might very well have shortened his continuous residency by at least one month.
