Went for Asylum Interview Today, Looking for a good lawyer

Hi Guys,
I hope some of you will remember me from previous posts.I finally went for my asylum interview today.Everthing went well except for these things:
1.He didn't tell me when I should expect a response, Is this normal?
2.I asked him when I should expect a response and he said 6weeks or even six months.I thouth it's after 14days
3.I told him I had aditional material and he said,"you already sent me a 'bunch' of stuff.
Is this nrmal, good or bad.I just had a feeling that he already knew the decision.
Please help

Also I need a good immigration in case my case is taken to immigration court.I live in Iowa.Any recommendations?
 
Do have a legal status now? I think it takes a bit longer if the applicant has legal status.
Which asylum office did you go to?
 
Next time you go to Nebraska office, can you tell them to approve my case???? :p Just kidding!

Anyway, don't worry about your interview. Let it go and just pray for the best. If you told them the truth and you answered the questions to the best of your ability, then you should be fine. I hope and pray for you that they will approve your case. Good luck!

Thanks for your support.I hope they approve your case I wish I could do something about it
