Weekend vs Weekday entry, does it make a difference?

Hi Folks,

My wife who is currently reside in Canada just obtained the TN approval notice (I797) via USCIS. It's valid from Dec-4(Sunday) and her starting day is Dec-5 (Monday). She planned to enter US via Vancouver airport. Obvious, entry at Sunday works best. However, many people on the Internet advise to enter US in regular business hour during weekday, does it really increase the risk when you entry during the weekend?

Because she has her approval (which is almost a guarantee of admission), she will be fine. But for anyone making the petition at the POE/PFI, going on Sat/Sun carried the risk of it being less likely to have the TN lead agent on-site, and they might insist to defer a decision on a complex TN issue until then.

Not many people apply for initial TN entry with an approved I-129, so the advice "on the Internet" (as opposed to here??) is correct for most applicants.
