Hi there it is me F from Pakistan. we applied for B1/B2 visa to meet our grandmom in Newyork , my 3 uncles are there who runs civil business like discount stores .. and my father is there too but with a different name .. and his original name is in our all documents , even in my mothers marriage certificate .. so me and my cousin applied for b1/b2 visa and got an interview yesterday at ISLAMABAD embassy

the consular women interview us and asked some question like

1 - Whats your name . me and my cousin
2 - so you are students
3 - why are you going to US
ANS = the sole purpose of our visit is to meet our grand ma who is seriously ill and persistently asking for us to meet us as we are her grand sons

4 - why you wanna particularly wanna meet her
ans - she is our grandmom as i said and we are right now free from our colleges so it is a better time to meet her

5 - then she said do you have any hospital letter

ANs = then i showed her 4 hospital letters from Mount sinai hospital , doctor anna bartan letter and then i DAMN showed her pictures .. she's in comma .... she saw the pictures and said .. SHE IS in comma . i said no , she is not in comma , if she was , she would not insist my uncles for us ..

DAMN I didn't showed my bankstatement ,. my educational certificates not even showed her sponsor letters of my uncle etc etc

she typed for about 3-4 minutes and said sorry i have rejected your visa

my question is that wether in next time can we change the sponsor and select SELF APPLICANT Option in pay for the trip ,, or stick with the same OTHER PERSON option ...
 
Your age, gender and citizenship all contriubuted to you failing to overcome 214(b). With so many relatives there, you are a prime candidate (according to the consul) for overstaying in the US. You may try again once there are significant changes in your circumstances.

Young, unmarried, no particular ties to home, large part of family in the U.S., unrest in home country.
 
hi there thanks for the gentle replies , our purpose is not to overstay neither we will to overstay , because my mother and my siblings will be alone here also my cousin has 7 sisters and his father is dead ... we have matual property worth more than 1 million dollars ....also we have fuel station that provide us an income of 2 lac pakistani ruppes per month ... so our whole future is here ..

not to hide and work like beggars there ... but VO dont give time to us to explain and see our all shit documents ,, infact he didn't see my 1.2 million PKR statement , and my educational documents

unfortunaltely my relatives even cant come here they run there business and they cant leave it to the shit mexicans etc who work with them ..

so we were in a better position to go and meet them

1 - MY QUESTION REMAINED UN ANSWERED that , wether filling DS -160 online form , we change our pay for the trip to self , or stick with other person paying for tirp..

2 - also in have ever you been refused ?? shall we select YES and explain for seleect NO

3 - ALSO MY uncle said he will send an congressional letter .. would it help

First things first. Avoid bold and large fonts. It is considered shouting.

A1: Always opt for self-sponsoring your B-2 trips
A2: Select "Yes". Never conceal a material fact.
A3: No. State Department officials are not influenced by members of congress.

anyways bro citizen what do you think , SHALL I bring all our property documents , our CNG station documents and billings in next interview ..

i have filled an another ds 160 online form and this time i have changed the payer of the trip to " SELF " not the " other person "

because earlier i thought i shall apply with the I-34 form and income tax and bank statement of my uncle but now i shall go with " SELF " option .. and this time when he/she asks me shall i tell that I am going to meet all my relatives their and discover newyork with them , or stick with the old reason that MY GRAND MOM is seriously ill and my die ..

THANKS for the guidance ... and with the congressmen letter i will request her that our intent is to temporary meet them not to settle there

It sounds like you are trying to manufacture a reason for your trip and manufacture evidence. Try the truth and if that does not work, that's life.
