Walking in to ATL DO and asking for Finger print

My wife's and my case were transferred to the Atlanta office today but the notice does not talk of any interview.

We still have not done FP even once

I heard form some people of a possibility of walking into the Atlanta office and requesting a fingerprint.

1. Has anyone done this?

2. If so, what is the procedure and what are the dos and don'ts?

did you try calling 1-800? they will probably send you FP notice soon, when ATL receives your file and starts processing it. How long did you wait for AOS? is it family based?
