Experts,

Does anyone have EARLY walk-in experience in Atlanta, good or bad? I have Nov 25th FP and going on vacation during that time period. Can I walk in for early FP successfully?

Thx.

My dad also has same day FP and he too wants to do earlier. Reply back here if you do go early and i'll do the same if my dad goes.

For my I-751 I did t a walk in FP. I don't remember exactly but here's what happened. I couldn't appear for the first scheduled FP appointment and I returned the notice requesting them to reschedule. While it took them a long time to send a new one (more than a mont), I talked to Customer support over the phone and they advised me to just walk in with the copy of old FP letter. I did that and they took my FP.
After a few days I received the rescheduled FP letter, I attached a copy of the confirmation FP letter (they sign and stamp it as receipt) and returned the 2nd scheduled notice. I think the 2nd notice I returned got lost or something. A few weeks later I received 3rd notice and I did the same. After that they stopped sending me appointment letters and processed the case.

b0nd, what's your timeline? Did it cause any issues in the waiting process? Mine are expired this month and when I received my second FP notice, I'm not waiting 50 days to go and get them taken, I want to walk in. Just wondering because I don't want it to cause more delays

FYI, Sat afternoons are usually slow. My wife was able to do a walk in FP back in July. There are couple of good decent black individuals who are usually there at the entrance who will let you in. Just be polite and you will be fine. They will let you in. We had a good experience.

Thanks Atlanta_Brother.

Sat would have been perfect for me. I just missed it. I did not know FP office stays open on Sat. Do you happen to know FP office timings for Sat? If we do FP earlier than assigned day would it negatively impact on Citizenship processing?

Thanks for all your help and information.

I had my FP today. I went earlier than noted time and no question was asked. It took around 40 mins to complete the process. No cell phones allowed.

You need to provide Name, Address, SSN, A#, height, weight, color of eyes and hair, mother and father's first name, place of birth.

You need notice and GC only.

Guy gave me back the FP notice (with stamp and hand-filled information) after FP was taken. Is it normal?

Thanks.
