Waiting US

Am I the only one waiting? Am I being fooled? Please someone tells me!
I am supposedly in the Master quota. I have a master degree from the states. Still waiting around! 5 weeks ago my employer told me he would file for express (premium) to get a response within 2 weeks! I asked how can you file for premium now and how can he file while he does not have a receipt number !?
After that he told me he received an inquiry and he responded
Till this minute I have no news! Anyone can tell me what is going on? Should I believe my employer? What else can I do? He says he applied april 8. He did not receive a confirmation number or anything.
I do not know if this would make a difference though I heard country of citizenship makes a difference!

First of all you should know how to put and where to put a posting in this forum.

Whenever there is a instruction do not post any message ona particular forum, you put the message. On top it you have US Masters.!!!!!

I feel very sorry for you. How can you belive your employer who can't even provide you with a receipt for the proof of H1 application submittal.

When you are asking, they are telling some story, are you going to believe it. If you believe it you have to wait. During that time you may loose your status.

Ask them H1 receipt, if you have the receipt # you can verify the statuswhether you r application is accepted /approved or denied.

From your posting it is obivious that your application might have been denied, that is the reason employer want to dely it maximum before passing on the information. (Take the worst possible case scenario)
Think and ack clevely, waiting for nothing will not help you. Your sure for being fooled.

First, you are not one of us! You might have been one of us!
Second, thanks for the nice attitude!
Third, if you were one of us you would know better. Can you sue the employer?
Fourth, I do not want you to feel sorry for me. I was not waiting for someone to show me how smart he is! or pity me!
Fifth, here is someone waiting like me.
You're not alone in waiting for feedback. It appears that USCIS - California Service Center (not sure about the other centers) still faces delays in providing receipt numbers. I too am waiting for anything. My employer says that USCIS has responded back to their follow-up inquiry. I guess both you and your employer should be proactive in following-up because sometimes the mailed responses are not received by the employer or lawyer.

No choice but to wait... :(

I would have had problems if they say all results are published and everyone received receipt number
