Waiting for OATH letter, test passed in Atlanta

Just an update, I got my oath letter yesterday. My interview is scheduled on 24th of this month in Atlanta. I don't understand the reason behind telling the oath will be in Birmingham after I passed my interview and now got a letter from USICS saying that again the oath will be in Atlanta. This is crazy. If this was the case, then they have to take my oath on the same day when I passed my interview. But any how I finally got my oath letter.

Thaks for everybody for your suggestions!!!!!!!

Now you can join the ceremony and bring your invitation. I wonder why so many people suffer from anxiety attacks over this immigration stuff. I mean, you already have a green card, obtaining your citizenship in record 80 days isn't necessary.

NPEN, congratulations!!! I hope you won't be asking when is September 24, and why we are NOW only on the September 14....lol!!!

Congratulations!!! The reason is taking so long, you guys are in small district with minimal resources. As you can see, most people who are in large DO tend to have their naturalization process completed in about 3-4 months. Just make sure you show up and complete your naturalization process, and remember to vote out a Congressional bum.

I had my Interview on September 14 but ended up with "decision cannot be made". However, I/O told me that there is nothing to worry about, everything looks fine, and she just needs to review the application and relevant document and will send me a letter within a week. She also mentioned that if I do not hear from her within a week then setup an appointment using Infopass which I already did. I will be travelling outside the USA on a temporary assignment next week which I already told the I/O during the interview and she made note of it. Any advise will be appreciated

You don't need any advise, you just did what the IO asked you to do, didn't you? You have an info pass, a week after the interview. I am confused by your posting as to what it is exactly you need advise on....:(

Thank you Al Southner,

I just wanted to know if it's safe to travel without getting Oath and if it's advisable to reschedule it?

Either address is fine. If you sign N-445 at oath location, then put Atlanta. If you sign it before at home, the put Birmingham. Either way it's not an issue for oath.

bye bye uscis

What the hell? No write-up of your oath ceremony experience? Man...some people are selfish....:) I saw a report in the Atlanta newspaper about an Alabama man who was overcome with emotion at the ceremony, he kisses the USCIS officials in the lip, and his name was Alabama21.....wow....
