For older cases, you won't be able to add it to USCIS account.
However, you can track all status updates through the Case Tracker app.

I guess it's the same for my office. Attorney is decent but staff makes a lot of mistakes and attorney doesn't have time to go through their work.
This resulted in many and many comments from me.
Considering how much attorneys charge for simple forms, you would expect that they at least have several pairs of eyes on it.

I sent an email to my asylum office last Friday and got a response today. They said my case is “pending a final decision at this time.”
Is that a generic answer they usually copy and paste? Is it a good or bad sign?
What kind of responses have you received in the past? My interview was in late April. I applied for asylum over 10 years ago.

Don’t indicate anything bro, just a generic answer, have you received ‘action taken’ email after your interview date?

which office?
 
Applied : August 2015
1st interview: April 29th 2025
2nd interview May 23rd 2025
Next day “decision is pending”
1 week later “application is pending”
2 weeks ago back to “decision is pending”

I did email to the asylum office (Los Angeles) and they replied me very next day with “under extended review” generic email.

Still waiting

By older cases you mean the date when I file application? In the history I have 2 ead decisions. I thought there should be a case that I completed the interview. But it's not there.
I'm checking my case online and 'decision is pending'. Does the app has more detailed updates? I downloaded it and uninstalled in a 2 min due to ridiculous amount of ads.

No. I did not receive any “action taken” email because my case is very old and I am not able to add it to my online account, but my status changed immediately to decision pending. I have been waiting since then.

To everyone waiting on decisions, just keep praying and hoping, we are in uncharted waters, hopefully with the new uscis director , a lot more clarity will be gotten soon.
