my WAC# is WAC-01-243-XXXXX.
we called up the IIO last week and got hold of some desi IIO,she was very co-operative but the phone got disconnected anywayz she was better than the rest and told us that there are chances of RFE...
so on Jan 28'03 an RFE was generated ,but We haven't got it yet so don't know...
so it looks like they have started working atleast.Just wanted to let you all know.

wac-01-251 RFE received by INS on 11/15

We sent the RFE reply actually in Oct/02. INS website shows that it was received on 11/15. By the way, does anyone keep an updated status list of all of us wac-01ers? Cheers.
 
I talked to IIO today. Surprisingly I could get through in just 10 minutes. She told me that officer picked up the case yesterday (Feb 5th). Initially INS responded to my fax inquiry stating that "my case is assigned to an officer on 11/20/2002". What is the difference between "picked up" vs "case assigned"? I would encourage all of you guys (esp. those people whose case is already assigned and waiting for adjudication) to call up IIO (preferably evening time) and find out the detail. One theory is that INS would have got my FBI clearance.

Just got fax inquiry response

My attorney just got a response from fax inquiry which she did 2 weeks ago. It is said: "In adjudication waiting for decision."

Does anybody know what does it mean? Does that mean the case has been assigned or not?

RFE. June 19. Recd by CSC July 19.
(3 Paystubs, 3 yr Tax details, Emploment verification.)

When called CSC in Nov, Dec 2002 reply from IIO case assigned to officer on Oct 31 2002. Late Nov co. changed address. So in Jan received info from IIO that all files related to my case had to change the co. address. Called in Feb, IIO reply case assigned to officer on Feb 19. Called March, IIO reply case assigned to officer on Feb 28.

So just date changes about when case assigned to officer. No other activity.
