Somtime during Jul/Aug 2002 found that file was moved to NRC
It took them couple of months to get it back on track....
RFE Jun 17 2003 - EVL, 3 Pay Stubs and last 3 W-2+1040s

The case is little bit different than the regular ones..so
for the benefit of others in same boat..here are
the details..

Employer NJ based
Regular Labor FL Based - Approved in June 2000
140 approved(TSC) - Approved in Jan 2001
Waited for 9 months before filing for 485
485 filed with CSC in Sept 2001
moved to NY in Dec 2001 still using a friends address in CA
The address on Paystubs, W-2 and Tax returns have NY address
FP Scheduled at SanJose but done a New Rochelle, NY

Cool congrats. What was the RFE about, and why was it moved to NRC? How did you know it was moved to NRC? What the heck is NRC?

garu, I have a question for you.
So, you found out that your file is at NRC, when you called them? Do we need to call these ppl from time to time to make sure that your file is where it is supposed to be??
 
you cannot find anymore

It was during those 949 number days..when we could hold
on for more than an hour to speak to an incompetent
immigration officer...we could find that. If this happens
for some reason you would not know until the JIT is
30 days past your ND as the CSR at 800 number will
not initiate a reserach request. This had happened to only a
few cases and we did not hear about this again...

we are still seeing regular approvals in EB category...Does this mean that BCIS is still moving on EB applications inspite of the Religious workers backlog?
