still waiting.......
My case has been approved on 06/10/2002 as I expected it\'s going to happen this week. Seems like processing speeds have picked up at VSC again.

I have mixed feelings about this.
Sometimes, I feel like "Gosh!!! What a wait and then bursts of excitement" and
at othertimes, I feel like "Whatever...After all the waiting since May 1997...No energy to even think that I am relieved...".
My RFE was issued on May 21. it came to my lawyers office and I got it from his office on May 29. I sent it back after a week to lawyers office and as per VSC AVM they receievd reply to RFE on June 7th.
In some cases RFE takes atleast one month to reach.. However your RFE message says something like \'If you do not recv notice in 14 days contact us\'. So it is high time you talk to an IIO.
Thanks taurus02,
I am calling my lawyer everyday. He didn\'t receive the notice. My lawyer is Pretty good and he never lied before. I am in Kansas city and my company used to file all cases in Vermont(now it files at Nebraska). I got my fingerprint notice after 7 months. May be it is taking it\'s own time to reach. Still i am eager to know why RFE??
Talking to lawyer is of no use. I am sure lawyers do not hold on to any document from INS. They loose credibility if they do like that. YOu can verify whether INS has sent out or not. RFE AVM messages say if you do not recv notice within 14 days contact IIO. So you are on solid ground to talk to IIOs.
