Just a question: The AVM says that "it normally takes 365-540 days for the card". Is it normal ?

Called twice to inquiry ( mid Dec and early Jan. Was told when I called the second time that both cases were assigned to officer on 1/9/02).

Can anyone tell me how long it takes after card is ordered to actually receive the card?
 
pp stamped 01/02/02 at Philly, cards ordered 01/23/02 as per AVM, received cards on 01/29/02

485 approved on 12/12/01.
My observation : Once the cards are ordered, it generally takes the time taken by the postal system to deliver the cards. The main wait is between the passport stamping and the AVM message getting changed to \'cards ordered\'.

Guess I\'ll sign off now but probably be visiting the site off and on (there was a time when I used to visit the site at least five times a day). Good luck to all of you !

We received cards for both my wife and me.
Releived...

Thanks for this thread and immigration.com. This site really kept me informed of things (before which I used to get a lot of here says when I statrted this GC process).

Please advise

I applied for my EAD without sending the signed blue cards. Now the AVM is saying that the EAD is approved. How do I deal with the problem of not sending the blue card?

Should I send it now or will i have an opportunity later??

passport stamped. do we need to send in travel document and EAD?

We had our passport stamped today. However, we didn\'t bring travel document or EAD with us. The lady said that it may cause us trouble. Did you guys bring in yours for passport stamping? Thanks. We did it in Philly.

stamped 12/14/01 at NYC, received the card yesterday, but there is a error ...

My question is
Do i need to file I-90 form in person at NYC local INS office ?
Do I need do fingerprints again ?
Anyone has simliar experiences ?
