Hi,

I am applying for my in-laws' tourist visa in Chennai. My father-in-law is a retired SP in Police Dept.

Would anyone in the forum please help me what I need to fill for the following

Regarding DS157 form,
#12 Not including current employer, list your last two employers

#14 Do you have any specialized skills or training, including firearms,
explosives, nuclear, biological, or chemical experience?


Regarding DS156 form,
as I am taking the visa appointment for my in-laws online, will it be OK if I put my email address for
#23. Email address

I assume you are filing the form for them, since only the applicant can apply for a visa on his/her behalf.
Mention the fact that your father-in-law was in law enforcement and knows how to operate a firearm.

Regarding DS157
#15 Have you performed military service? I will be saying 'no' as police department is not part of military. right?


Regarding DS156.
As I will be taking the visa appointment online for my in-laws, I'll be fill my asnwer for question 39 and 40 as

#39 ==> Yes
#40 ==> My name, relation ship to applicant and address

Am I completing the application correctly?

I know these 2 additional questions seems simple but wanted to make sure I dont want to fill in incorrect answers.
