Visitor Visa @ Yellow form

Hi All,
Hope you are doing great!

My dad had interview at mumbai on 18th march 2009 for visitor visa. they got yellow form it mention consulate need further process and will contact you then you have to submit passport, yellow form and email copy at vfs.

Question:
When i expect response from consulate?

Right after the consulate gets the OK from Washington, DC.

I was referring to different federal agencies in DC and no you cannot call them to expedite. I am afraid the only option is to wait it out.
