Visitor Visa to H4 for mother or Parent

Hello,
My mother has a 10 year multiple entry visitor visa. I want her to be with me as long as I remain in the US, as there is no one in India to take care of her. My I-140 approved under EB2. Can she change her status to H4, as I heard it is possible under some circumstances?.

Parents do not qualify for H4 visa status. If you need to care for her, you will need to leave the US.

Do not abuse the B2 visa by trying to use it to have her live in the US via repeated extensions. When the abuse is detected, the visa will be voided.
 
What you want and what you can get are two very different entities. There are no provisions for parents to be issued H-4 visas if their children hold H-1B status. Simple as that.

If your parent needs to live with you, don't waste a visa slot by applying. It is not possible by regulations for H1B program for a guest worker to bring anyone but spouse and minor children as dependents.
 
Only a US citizen can petition for a parent. You'll have to adjust as an immigrant and naturalize first.
