Hi, I'm in a very odd situation. My in-laws are having visa interview on May 30th, 2007. My H1B approval (I-797) is expiring on May 29th, 2007 but last month I filed for extension and have a receipt notice (I-129) dated Apr 2nd, 2007. So my question is, can my in-laws go for the interview with my receipt notice (I-129) or do they need to have the valid approval (I-797) ? Can anyone pls let me know. This will be of great help.
