Visitor Visa Extension - Please help

Hi,
I applied for Visitor Visa extension for my parents, mailed to Laguna Niguel, California service center. When I check the mailing status with USPS, they say that the PO BOX in California has a forward on file and they have forwarded my mail to Texas service center.

Is this correct? Is there anyone else in this same boat? Please help. Urgent.

You sent it to the wrong address. You are fortunate that they did not just reject it outright. They did you a favor.
 
Please clarify your answer. The instructions on the I-539 form asked me to mail to PO BOX 10539, Laguna Nigel, CA.

That's where I mailed. But they forwarded to Texas. How can you say so sure that I mailed to wrong address?

Are you visitng the US on your Canadian or Pakistani passport?
