Visiting Canada with GC only?

Hello,

We plan to visit Canada for 3 weeks through land. Just GC is required to travel?

Or do we need to take any other docs like.

1. Passport
2. GC
3. Employment letter (Where u are working in USA)

Can anyboy direct us to the info.

GC alone is fine. the new passport requirement you may have heard in the news does not apply to green card holders.

GC is all you need at land border. Would only need passport if there was any chance you might need to fly back (change of plan, emergency etc. etc.)

As an LPR you don't need a passport any time you go between the US and Canada by land, sea or air. Of course, if I were you I'd take my passport anyway.
