Hi all,

I have a friend who lives in Canada, She has a Canadian PR.. Can we invite her to States for the Holidays, Around Christmas time. What are her chances.. What will be a good way to approach on this issue.

Can someone guide me?

Visit visas do not need sponsors. Best approach is for you to do nothing. Your friend should qualify for a B-2 visa on her own. If she has been a Canadian PR for 6 months or more, she has a good chance of being approved. If she has been a Canadian PR for 12 months or more and she has a job in Canada, her chances should be really bright.

What will be a good way to approach on this issue.

Coming from Canada, she shouldn't have too many problems. Just will need to document her ties to Canada (job, house, car, bills, etc). You won't need to sponsor her or anything, if she is coming from Canada.
