Visa Stamping

Me and my wife are in H1-B and H4 visas which will expire next year ie. 2006 , my company is filing an amendment to my visa and also simultaneously applying for an extention for both our visas . Would I need to get a re-stamping done for amendment & extention ?

You can use the current visa for the same company until its validity, amendments does not matter
