VISA revalidation with expired VISA

My I - 94 has expired in Dec 2003 and I have a new H1 papers now.
I planning to go to Vancouver, Canada for stamping. Is there any problem because my existing VISA is already expired. ?
 
If revalidation is denied, you have to go to home country to get the visa or stay in canada - if canada is your home country.
You can also revalidate in St.Louis till Dec 2004.
 
Thanks for the response. Revalidation at St. Louis is taking 4 months. Is ther any way to get it done fast ?
