Visa Number and One Year B1/B2 Visa

I tried booking a flight for my next visit to US. The booking system asked me to provide my US visa number. Which number did it mean? The one printed in red or the other written under "Control Number"?

I am flying to the US for the first time on a one year B1/B2 visa. I will enter the US while my visa will be valid for less than 3 months. I will stay 3 weeks in US. Would this be a problem?
 
You can enter a day before your visa expires and stay for six months (if an I-94 is granted), so there is no potential problem with your plan.
