Hey guys!
I have my visa interview scheduled on October 1st. I was just curious about what kind of questions to expect.
Also, I had a question regarding finances. As a student, I don't have a lot of savings (~3000 Dollars). However, my father is also a US Permanent Resident who has a stable job in the US. Do you think his support letter is sufficient or do they expect me to have some savings?
I am also about to finish my PhD by mid next year. I guess it is kind of implied that I should not have difficulties getting a job in the States. But to make things obvious - do you think it will help if I have a letter from my Professor stating that I should have no problem finding a job? Or if I get a letter from a Professor in the US stating that? Do you think these documents are helpful or if that is kinda overkill?
Thanks,
