Visa after 6 yrs term!!!

Hi Guys,
Any idea about getting visa stamed for 3 years based on apprvoed I140 ( aft ther inital 6 years)?

I am on my 7 th year based on my I-140 approvel. I am planning to get my 3 years visa stamped.

Any issue? I really appreciate your help.

I changed employers before my sixth year, when switching I applied for my new I797 with an extension based on an approved I140 and no available visa numbers, It went Premium processin and they issued TWO RFEs , but in the end I got it all approved - 3 Year Extension after and approved I797.

Hope this helps.


BTW - the Premium Processing took 3 months bacause of the RFEs that were issued, they basicly asked about everything and then some!

Thanks for your reply. I am sorry....my question wsan't clear. Mu H1-b was approved at the end of the 6th year based on I-140 approval(LC & I-140 was approved in perm process with my old employer and with this approved I-140 I've applied for H1 extension for 3 yrs through new employer and got approved). I am planning to go for Visa stamping to Mexico/Canada. Is it going to be a problem? Please give me your feed-back or any experiance that would be appriciated.
