1) I'm working for company A and due to some reasons I had to switch jobs. Initially I got a job in company B[ a very bad offer], who started my H1B transfer procedure. After couple of days, I got another offer from company C[Kind of decent offer] and I accepted that offer and they too started the H1B transfer procedure. After this, I had discussion with a very very very good company[Let us say compan D], but nothing came of it.
So I started working for company C from last thursday[10/23/05]. Now company D has made me a very sweet offer. My question is can I intiate a 3rd H1B transfer? Will there be any issue if there are 3 outstanding H1B transfers? Please help me, as I really want to take up company D's offer..

2) If I can take up company D's offer[ in which case I will have to leave company C], Do I need to mention about company C to company D[ Keep in mind that I would have worked only 3-4 days at company C]?

Please let me know the answers to these questions as I have a golden opportunity and I don't want to pass it up

Transfer your H1b from C to D. Give a copy of H1b from c to company D attorney. Since you have paid all the fees, no loyalty or commitment to your other companies b or C.

thanks a lot great guru.
But that is the whole problem!.. I don't have an H1B from company C.
They just filed for my h1b, last week and it is still in process..

You have joined C and working on the basis of H1 receipt notice in your hand, give that paper to company D.

If you do not have that receipt notice (papers) with you, you are not suppose to work for company C which is make your status put under question.

How did you beleive that they apply H1 for you. Suppose the attorney did not send a check for filing fess the application will be returned. So reipt notice is the only evidence that your new H1 is under process and you are legally allow to work for comp c.

Once Again..I thank you great guru..

1)Yes, I have the h1b reciept...so looks like I'm fine..
2)I joined even before I got the H1B reciept. This could be done, as per the new laws[atleast this is what the attorney told me], I can start working for a new company, once the attorney has the FedEx reciept notice..

But in my case I have the reciept from INS(I797C, Notice of action for I129)

Thanks a lot, I can sleep better now

2)I joined even before I got the H1B reciept. Not a good move. This could be done, as per the new laws[atleast this is what the attorney told me], {unless you have any solid evidence such as h1b receipt no law will come and recue you, fedex recipt does not mean anything if problem crops up. What will you do if the FedEx envelop does not contain any papers in it? still you have Fedex receipt. I can start working for a new company, once the attorney has the FedEx reciept notice..

But in my case I have the reciept from INS(I797C, Notice of action for I129)
