Valid AP, can I go for H1 stamping in Canada by road?

Hi,

If I have a valid AP can I go to stamp my H1 visa in Canada by road?

For any reason, if I don't get H1 visa or Canada consulate asks me to visit my home country for H1 visa by issuing 221(g) or they reject my H1 visa, Can I come back on AP by road?

Do you see any issue?

My main object is NOT to use EAD/AP and to maintain H1 status as much as I can but if any issue in H1 status then I want to use EAD/AP. Also, I don't won't to travel India just for H1 stamping rather I would prefer Canada for H1 stamping by ROAD as I am on US-Canada border.

Please suggest your experience/suggestions.

Using AP wont invalidate your H1 status

After using AP, you can still work using H1. It is the EAD which matters here - if you use EAD, you will lose H1 status.

Search for threads on this, this issue has been discussed a lot.
