Vaccination waiver

Hello Everyone,

One of my friend has applied for AOS, she had her FP done, got her EAD card, even had a GC interview. Where everything went fine expect 'Vaccination', which she haven't submitted because of her religious faith/believe. Her GC is waiting for 'Vaccination'

Can somebody suggest..... Is there a way, through which my friend can skip vaccination procedure, by showing a letter from priest explaining religious reasons or any health reasons etc etc.....
 
I don't think there is such for RELIGIOUS reasons (for HEALTH reasons - yes, from the civil surgeon). And it makes sense, frankly. Some diseases are VERY contagious.
 
We all had to do it, and it's not only for our health but to protect others. If it's not mandatory for immigration, it should be. It's a health issue. To be honest, I don't know if they have to prove it's for religious reasons, or how they would if they had to. I know people who are so afraid of shots they'd do anything not to have them, including lie about reasons not to. There IS a waiver for it but just because she pays for it and fills it out doesn't mean it will be approved.

Did she have vaccinations as a child?

I ask because many people did get vaccinated as a child and as such may still be immune to diseases that may normally require boosters.

I last received vaccines in high school, and have since developed personal reasons for not wanting any more than I do not feel are absolutely necessary. I technically was due for a couple of boosters, one of them being tetanus (WHY do we need to be up to date on tetanus for this purpose? doesn't make sense to me, but whatever). Rather than getting the booster, I paid to have a blood test done to test my immunity - which was fine, and is all that is really required (I have since received my GC without having to get any vaccines).

Just throwing this out there as a possibility.
 
Actually I did blood test too for number of those shots, and they didn't require me to take them as I had antibodies.
