TD vaccine & Chest X-ray

Is Td vaccine still in national shortage?I heard sometime in December2001 it was a national shortage.

Does Pregnant woman can do chest x-ray for tb test?

call 1800 232 2522 to find out about vaccine shortage in your COUNTY (look up your local newspaper to find your county). Generally international travelers are given the shots if proof of imminent travel is shown.

If your wife is pregnant she better not take the x-ray. If you tell the INS approved doctor, they will mark the medical forms and will not perform any TB test. Chest X-ray is required only after the TB skin test is positive.
