Nope. Both are different. The A# appears on your receipts of I485, I765 or
I131 (in some cases on I140).
The A number starts with A and then the numbers.
The visa number is on your Visa i.e. the Visa #, is the red number on the visa.

A# = Alien number it will be on your I-485 filing receipt and on your Green Card, your EAD, AP and same A# you will be writing on citizenship application form.
Visa = normally when people write Visa it means Visa stamp in the passport
Visa number= if one ask visa number on passport then your nonimmigrant visa number is on your Visa stamp in the red.
VISA number= when people discuss I-485 and say visa number not available or available it means at the time of I-485 approval visa number should be available for you and the officer ask the Visa number from DOS. DOS assigns immigrant visa numbers for different countries and has categories( you can read Visa bulletin on DOS site and will understand about visa numbers)
